Yahoo Finance Well I just found a beter site than the CNN site about money and investing.  Not surprisingly it is on yahoo.  Click on the hyper link at the start of this post.  And it has an excellent glossary.  For example, Under Investing 101, click on Bonds.  There is one of the best explanations on bonds I have seen, I wish I could have clicked there in 1983 when I was teaching myself all about them.

I suggest you work your way through this site, you will learn more practical down to earth facts than you could learn from the typical college finance text in a semester.

I found this site very useful. I have studied bonds in several classes, but something different always sinks in a little bit deeper every time I read about bonds. The most important explanation for me was the break down of the different government issued bonds in relation to there maturities. T-bills being 13 months or less, T-notes 2 – 5 years, and T-bonds with 10 plus years to maturity.

I visited the Yahoo Finance website and find it user-friendly. Going into the Charts User Guide helped me understand more about the charts and how to adjust the chart’s scales. Also, the dictionaries section gave easy to understand definitions.
