I suggested that the entire T Bond market was too big for one person to influence.  HOwever that does not keep folks from ‘slamming the wire or engaging in other predatory practices to enhance their position.  Other practices in clude hoarding a particular issue in hope of driving up the price, particularly if that issue is the subject of an interest rate swap.  We are studying derivatives in the intermed II class now.  Read this in conjunction with the appendix in the spiceland book and come to class with some questions on Wednesday.
