My Last Word on Certified Exams this Semester

Here is the link again to various certifications.

My suggestion to you is this.  Whatever exam you take your fellow co workers will only know whether you passed or failed. So make sure the one they know you are taking is one you will pass. Hint, do not go for the most difficult on the list, pick one you know you will pass.

It will do you no good to be known for failing something multiple times even if you do eventually succeed in passing, all you will be known for is having failed before you passed, hardly an enviable position.   But all I can do is dispense free advice.

    Thank you for posting the link again. I’ve now saved it in my favs and will re-consider what I want to do. Of course, this decision could be made in Vermont as well as Texas!! hehe

    I agree with Jaime, Thank you posting this, I have a question about the QAC certification. On there it says that you have to have 8 years of experience in the position and i was wondering how you would come about gaining that experience. I’ve been interested in Quality management but everytime I research the position I can find no leads. The only good information i’ve found is about a company that is based in Scotland that works in the USA but i’m not sure i’m willing to move to Scotland, hehe. Can you help on this?

    I found this link to the local group, they met last June 9, there is s link to e mail someone, so I would do that, I am only familiar with the cpa, cma, cia, there are 40 but this appears to be a legit certification. This appears to applicable to industry and govt. A college degree counts for 4 of the eight years and then you would need to work as a supervisor in a process oriented environment, interesting.
