Most companies are beyond cutting employees and looking for other ways to buoy the bottom line.
Here is an interesting piece. Look inparticular at #6 Goodyear. Unions are having a large hand in the downturn of this company. They will not allow them to perform proper cost cutting methods. They are forcing the company to keep factories open.
