John Kerry’s $7 M Yacht

John Kerry is docking his $7 M new yacht in Rhode Island rather than Massachusetts. MA still collects tax on such trinkets while rhode Island repealed its taxes. Kerry comments on taxes in this clip.  You will recall that Kerry married the widow of heinz, heir to the ketchup fortune. This of course is precisely the kind of tax that Kerry from Taxachusetts always votes for.

    Well, one could say hypocrisy or smart-thinking. I had to really think about it, if I were a Senator from Massachusetts who had a $7 M yacht, where would my yacht be parked? I would definitely have to practice what I preached. Yeah, there’s lots of loopholes to get out of paying taxes, but there’s not many loopholes for regaining the trust of the people. “A good name is rather to be chosen than riches.”
