The 2010 print version of Encyclopedia Britannica will be the last. The 244 year old publication is going digital.
This comes as Apple releases its thrid version of the iPad. Digital is here for real. And clearly for an encyclopedia, a digital version makes searching for information much easier. No doubt wikipedia led the way onthis onoe.
