Has NASCAR Mania Peaked? That appears to be the case. Just as NASCAR went national, the fan base in teh south started shrinking. Frankly I never quite understood the appeal but. It will take some soncionomic investigatino to see what turned the faithful off from this loud, noisy thrill ride.
But races now draw half the fans that were there a few years back. All of this happens at Austin opens its Formula One track this month. Hmm….
