Apple is one of those companies able to leapfrog its own technology. As this article suggests computers have gone from
occupying entire air conditioned rooms
to desktops
to laptops
to the palm of our hand and now
to what is likely to be head mounted displays we carry everywhere.
Google has displayed a such a device and patents have already been filed. The pace of tech is picking up as companies wedded to yesterday's tech of laptops are displaced by companies in the tablet arena.
