The Recruiter Assistance Program was designed to pay soldiers $2000-$7000 for referring recruites who sigend up for the National Guard.
It did not take enterprising soldiers long to scam this system. The recruiters themselves were not eligible for the awards. So the soldiers got walk in names of those volunteering. They claimed they had 'recruited them' and were eligible for the reward. The solider would then split the money with the actual recruiter who supplied the names.
Forensic accounting is a great buzz word. I am not quite sure what it means but…
ONe of the meanings ought to be thinking ahead, what could go wrong? Apparently no one at the Pentagon thought much baout that. A Lt General calls it a fundamental breakdown. And the Navy and Air Force have their own fish to fry.
Both Navy and Air Force instructors in nuclear programs have been charged with cheating on exams.
The Nay program involves instructionon nuclear propulsion reactors. The Air Force problem is alleged to be worse as after all,k a nuclear missle is designed to explode while a reactor is designed to operate.
We report, you decide. Again internal controls are the best preventive against system failure.
