JC Penny announced 2% better revenues for the 4th quarter. But the stock dropped anyway. I will be distributing an analysis in class which demonstrates why all of you should be reading the WSJ for context. 

The Ron Johnson Re Make Era of two years has really put JCP on the rocks. This is now a going concern question. Does JCP have enough cash to survive?  We will discuss this in class. 

Radio Shack

Motley Fool suggests RSH needs a lot more than a Funny Ad.  The short article notes in the ad a RSH customer is examining a smart phone. I don't see how RSH can compete with Verizon or ATT in the phone business. It seems to me they need to go back to the music business. But BBY is having its difficulties as well.
