Well darned we missed the top 25 again.  But I mean College Station came in at 37 and Rice at 33 so this is pretty heady stuff.

Scanning the list you will note many of the 'top' schools were started pre 1800. One thing to remember is that the 'top' schools never go away, one hundred years from now Harvard and Dartmouth will likely still be up there. These schools are more a fraternity than a university. All the members of the Supreme Court are from Ivy League Colleges for example. Remember the outcry when Bush nominated someone from, oh horrors, SMU?

The question is rather, is you school a good choice for you?  I suspect TAMUSA is a good choice for most of our commuter students with easy parking and accessible professors. And frankly if you are going to work in San Antonio I don't think Harvard is such a great choice, a better choice is  a school knoown in San Antonio, and the A & M brand id certainly known.
