NBC maintains its lead without Brian Williams. Lester Holt has replaced him with a quiet no nonsense style that seems to resonate with viewers.
I am guessing Brian Willilams will be lucky to come back as a special projects guy.If ratings stay high NBC will likely hope viewers forget Brian.
I don’t think he’ll be coming back in any capacity. He’s been the butt of too many meme jokes in social media to recover any time soon (if ever). His name is synonymous with “liar,” and given what he took liberties with in his stories, a bit of humble pie may not be out of order for him.
