Audit Committee Update

Audit Committees were given far more power after the Enron collapse.  SARBOX dictates that no one in management may be on the audit committee and the audit committee hires and communicates with the outside auditor.

    Its almost hard to believe that some of these regs and concepts are just now being introduced into the Audit Committee. I mean I don’t alot of what the job intels, but it sounds like the new “rules” are going to combat fraud.
