Nancy Ozuna and Anna Marie Parker will present at 4 00 PM this Thursday October 4 in Room 173Aof the STEM building.

Nancy is a member of BKD National Construction & Real Estate Group and leads the San Antonio office construction and real estate practice as well as its employee benefit plan practice. She has over 20 years of diverse audit and accounting experience including serving real estate developers, manufacturing, distribution and retail industry clients, as well as being a firm-wide resource in the employee benefit plan arena. Her expertise also includes HUD compliance audits and low-income housing credit (LIHTC) projects. Nancy’s expertise with benefit plan audits includes local plans sponsored by the nation’s largest municipally owned energy utility, public companies, master trusts, including plans with commingled funds, real estate, defined benefit, defined contribution, health and welfare plans as well as 11-K filings, U.S. Department of Labor notices, IRS exams, plan terminations and conversions, plan consents and forms 5500 and 5330.

She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. She serves as a board member for The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) Alumni Association, on the UTSA Alumni Annual Gala Committee and as a member of the UTSA College of Business Advisory Board. The San Antonio Business Journal named Nancy one of San Antonio’s “40 under 40.” She also was selected for the 36th class of The San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and The Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce 2011 Leadership San Antonio program. Her other community service includes being a North San Antonio Chamber board member and the audit committee chair for the Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas. Nancy is a 1993 graduate of UTSA, with a B.B.A. degree and a 1995 graduate with an M.Acc. degree.
