Supreme Commander

is the story of how MacArthur accomplished a near impossible feat.

He had to remove the influence of those who had started WW II.  He introduced women into a much larger role in society, reason being so many had lost men in the war they would oopose the militarists.  Russia was another threat still smarting from their 1900 encounter with Japan. And the US as well as Russia want to punish Japan for the war.  At the time Japan like China decades later, was known for poor quality products.   The result of his work was to bring democracy and business to the island nation.  Soon Japan would dominate in electronics, cameras, motrocycles, and then automobiles.
