Wendy Lynn Wein faces up to 9 years in prison after she attempted to hire a hitman, officials say. The 52-year-old Michigan woman apparently wanted her ex-husband killed because she said he stole from her. 

 

She apparently tried to make the transaction though "Rent-A-Hitman," which is a fake website. Her request got the attention of authorities, and an undercover official met with her to discuss the murder. She gave the detective $200 upfront and said she'd provide thousands of dollars more.

 

This is not the first time someone has gotten in trouble for using the fake site.

    Indeed it sounds more like a comedy skit on SNL but who knows, a couple of weeks to go in school, absenteeism on the rise.
