I ran across this news release on the UNT site. Turns out UNT students are heading to Nepal to learn about urban planning and the environment. Funny have they askede any of our students here from Nepal like Lhamu or Bibek or Anuja? Nepal comes here we go there, what’s up with all this?

I think it is a wonderful step that UNT is opting to take, by taking students to NEpal to teach them about urban development and Environmental issues. Nepal is still in those developing years that America or any other industrialized nation has already been through a half a century ago. The society still behaves within those very norms created by their ancestors, and city planning has been a major issue since only a decade ago. The people are great and the prices are cheap [that’s if you want to tour], all in all it is still developing. and so a perfect place to learn, urban development…
