I have a daughter who just graduated from high school and she is not the least bit interested in going to college. She is attending Aveda Institute to learn about cosmetology. I had to let go of my dreams for her and allow her to pursue her dreams. College isn’t for everyone. Being an educator, this has been tough for me. My husband and I both pushed for college with both of our children since day one, but I’ve learned to let go—At this point in her life, it would probably be a financial waste if this is not what she is interested in pursuing. I am grateful there are people who want to do this job and many others such as air conditioning repair–I have certainly benefited from their expertise!!!!!
