While reading Ben Steins article i realized he’s right why hasnt the law gotten involved with this money crisis. Someone made the mistakes to get the economy where it is not an object. Someone made bad desicions and now everyone has to pay a price for that mistake. Who is this someone I would like to know. Also, as far a the savings goes, i know several people who live paycheck to paycheck and savings was just a obsolite word used to hold money for the bills untill the next payday.

He’s telling it like it is. Well common sense is always gone because of how our political system is set up. The derregulators of big business did a good job of keeping the government off of big businesses back. Government is going to have to be more involved overall to counteract the greed in private enterprise.

Great article. Sounds like I’ve heard this before – no wait… I have, ACCT 3312. An excellent point was made in the article about savings. We have leaned so far to over extending ourselves with credit (goes for businesses and people) that any “hiccup” will create a disaster.

“Human beings must have savings. This is not just a good idea. It’s the difference between life and death, terror and calm. So start saving right now, and don’t stop until you die.”
If this were an ad…I wonder how many people would panic and hurry to open savings accounts ?!?
