The numbers stated in the article are amazing ! UT was the second most profitable team worth $92 million but I think the best part is that $4.7 million went to academics and when the Longhorns play at home, there is an increase in revenue for the county of about $9.4 million. It is not surprising to understand why UTSA would be trying to get into the football business. If San Antonio could see an increase in sales and give back to the schools’ education program then that would be a win-win scenario for everyone.

See my posttoday on the link to the Texas Monthly article about UT Inc. AS I observed achieving those results are much more difficult for the UNTs and UHs as UTSA will discover, how many of us have ever been to a UTSA athletic event?
