Community College officials face serious charges for misuse of funds and channeling money for various bond elections.

It never ceases to amaze me.  Whenever I teach ethics three times now, there is no lack of current ethically challenged officials making the news. One never needs to save articles so that there is material to demonstrate the problem to students.

Of course the lawyers for the officials are denying anything was done incorrectly. But the DA brought the case, and this is after all California where it seems to take quite a bit to break the law when it comes to government spending.

Amazing! I guess they didn’t take their continuing education classes in common sense. Talk about role models for students. Ha!

That’s what happens when you give someone too much power. Whatever happened to checks and balances? Well it looks like they need to get rid of an auditor position with all these snakes turning. Hopefully, no snake babies start to pop up. HA!

    This is crazy.
I thought every business, every department in a business had someone or should have someone doing the books?

As Gene Wilder famously remarks in the original Producers
    I cooked the books
The Producers came out right after the first time the Dow topped 1,000. it resonated with audiences as the various scandals of that era became known. With perfect socionomic timing Mewl Brooks brought it back as the Dow topped 12,000 and the dot.coms tanked, again it resonated with the audiences
