Dave Carroll finally had to pay the $1200 to fix his guitar, broken courtesy of United Airlines. All his complaints were ignored, what's a musician to do? Hmm how about recording a song and put it on You Tube?

According to his story he did everything he could to resolve this claim but I think he should have taken names of employees who pushed him away. THis way he could at least have had proof he tried to make an immediate claim. I also do not think he should have said thank you at the end of his blog. I just feel that in the event United might actually try and resolve the dispute, they may think he is already happy with the outcome.

It’s catchy..
I know, imagine putting a laptop in your bag. And it is a big problem because you are not allowed to bring liquids with you, so you have to put things on the bag… Things that break…
Like my cologne…. 😦LikeLike

well it’s not only united airlines who damages your luggage. I took a trip to canada last may. I went out bought my suitcase for $60.00. In the way to Canada my suitcase got dirty, and torn. In the way back Continental decided to finish destroying my suitcase. the handle was broken, wheels crack, zipper broken, My suitcase was lopsided.

Go dhing you had a new one, a used one might not have held up.
A few years ago American Tourister had a great commercial for this, it was simply a suitcase inside a cage with a gorilla, the gorilla did everything possible to tear it up

Good post Laura, as Deming says, people do remember bad experiences and they do talk about itLikeLike
