You can't make  this stuff up

Dave Barry, Jeff foxworthy

Tell Fritz is the new website allowing customers to 'get in touch' with Fritz, the CEO of GM.

but it gets better, this is  a quote

"One of the new frontiers in the auto industry will be true customer service," Henderson said. "We're committed to responding to consumer market trends."

Gee where have they been as the foreign makers invaded?

We study customer relations in managerial accounting, TQM, CQM, geez, perhaps this is why GM  is in trouble, ya think?

True customer service? Shouldn’t that be exactly what they should have been doing? obviously they didn’t get the memo. That’s one BIG reason for failure.

My view is what if all this is just part of making consumers hear what they want to hear or feel. A company I worked for in the past allowed each other to “market” ourselves as upper management in order to get to the next call, so that the real Upper Management could do other tasks supposedly more important than to hear what our consumers really felt. A psychological strategy that has proven is not a very good strategy for long.

Tell Fritz is an admission that the company does not listen to its dealers. This is about as lame a logo as Mr. Goodwrench.
