Al Gore is pushing green energy, and his companies are receiving massive subsidies as a result.

A fellow Tennessean questioned him about that.

Why do these people get away with this. They don’t care about the environment. They care about the money that is in their pocket. The “Global Warming” myth is being debunked all the time. Now, GE is getting on board with the Cash for Washers. Better watch out, that might be taxable income too. I thought there was to be no additional taxes for those that made less than $250,000? All this along with Cap and Trade as well as the passage of the House Health Reform Bill this past weekend sure shows how far from the middle the current administration is. Watch out with Obama at the climate change summit in Copanhagen. The world wants the US to pay. Obama might just give it to them. He is paying and saving everyone else, GE, GM, the banks etc. Why not other countries now? What good is coming from it? Is this the change we can count on?

I feel that trying to make energy efficient appliances and trying to use different forms of energy such as wind turbines is a great thing!! On the other hand I do not think that our government should be giving incentives to companies who are making these products. These new innovations and products should be made because its the right thing to do for our planet and because there are people out there who actually want to buy these products. I am very interested in buying these products. I like the idea of conserving energy and saving money.
