You may or may not recall that Foxcomm had to put bars on the windows of the worker dormitories to stop them from jumping to their deaths. After that spate of suicides, the latest is a simple riot. Since this is in China it is  good sized riot but just that.

The upshot of this is that more companies are coming back to the US. The overall advantage of being abroad is disappearing. We are seeing a good deal of that here in San  Antonio. MOre firms are taking advantage of Brook and Kelly to repair or remanufacture.

Funny that you mentioned more jobs coming to the US. I read an article yesterday (http://finance.yahoo.com/blogs/daily-ticker/made-america-5m-manufacturing-jobs-coming-back-report-123557752.html) about more jobs coming back. Hopefully now people will stop using the excuse “no one’s hiring” and stop abusing the welfare system and start working again.

Can work be coming back? This is great news for many American who are out of work! Having jobs that were once here in the States, should be an easy transition for this companies. As more college students began to graduate in their respected fields, it looks like more opportunities will become available. Which is good, helping bring down the unemployment rate and bringing confidence back to the market. It seems the American economy is coming back from downturn we have experience in recent years. The other day I saw construction happening for a new hospital off of highway 151. It seems The Baptist Health system is now expanding to that part of town. Creating more jobs and wider health, and emergency services. These foreign nations are going to feel what many American felt when they were either fired or lay-off. We will have to wait and see how this all plays out. The American dream still lives on!

I agree with Evonne that people are always making excuses for not finding a job. I know few old and young adults that chose not to take advantage of job oppurtunities of companies coming back to the states because they don’t want to work late or weekends. These peoples kids and grandkids are in training on how to take advantage of the system.

We have hospitals here recruiting out of state RNs to fill $55/hr positions. Who says we have no jobs? And good ones….
